Methodology

This means how the institute teaches.

In most institutes students are taught the basics and left to do their own practice with other students. Tests are scheduled which are again about test-practice and not about skills to do better in each of the modules.

At RX English, we teach skills and ensure you use those skills in your practise and then we provide individual corrections and ensure you are ready for the exam. This means more students pass!

Why Student – Teacher Ratio matters

At RX English, we follow a 10:1 student -teacher ratio. This means for every 10 students you have one teacher.

To also ensure that as a student you succeed, we provide each ‘class teacher’ incentives if they help pass their 10 students or their class. This ensures teachers put in extra time, provide individual attention and this results in students passing OET easily.

Daily Corrections on an Individual basis

Most institutes are too big to provide individual corrections and their student teacher artio is usually 40:1. So this means your letter does not get corrected on a daily basis and even if so, they do not have the time to provide you tips and suggestions as to why you have made mistakes and how best to avoid them.

At best, institutes correct on a daily basis and leave the corrected papers for you to find and understand on your own.

At RX English, we provide daily corrections and daily student teacher interactions on your work ensuring you are able to understand and improve your writing, speaking, reading or listening skills.

Classroom and Online courses

We provide Online and Classroom based coaching.

This means students can choose to work from home at their convenience or join out institute at Edapally, Ernakulam to successfully pass OET. This also means we have the methods and material to run online classes daily.

For nurses who work in the Gulf / Middle East, our classess are structured for your work timings and the material too is customized to ensure you get the necessary practise to be successful. For India based working Nurses and doctors too, we provide both group and private, individual online class that ensure you get a grade B in the OET exam.

For students based in Kerala, we provide blended classes, where you could work online on working days and join our Question & Answer sessions on Saturdays at Edapally, Cochin. This ensure you save costs and still get the best benefits of a classroom based study.

Firstly, there are no tricks in OET. One has to have the necessary language skills and test taking skills to pass the OET. It isn’t simple either, which is why 50% of the test-takers fail the OET exam. So a qualified teacher makes all the difference!

At RX English, we do not hire passed out students to teach, instead our trainers are TESOL qualified teachers. This ensures you are taught effective language skills and also test based skills so that you are successful in your OET exam.

Coursebooks and Practise material

Most institutes do not have a syllabus or a coursebook which means you are taught from old printout-out’s by non-qualified teachers. To add, there is a lot of poor material available on the internet. This means you have to work harder to understand methods and skills to pass the exam.

At RX English we use digital coursebooks created by Specialist Language courses, a Premium Preparation Provider. All our practise material is whetted by our academic team and senior trainers and then used for our students.
