OET B Nursing Course (Offline)

A comprehensive course that covers the basics of Medical English, the RX English OET Nursing course is a 60 days OET prep course helping Nurses achieve Grade B and above in their OET exams.

This course provides a detailed understanding of each OET sub-test, strategies, techniques, and tactics to max the sub-tests, Grammar to enhance your learning, and medical terminology to supplement your vocabulary.

At RX English, we work with Specialist Language Courses and administer classes using a blended learning methodology. This means students learn using both, online course books combined with classroom-based, face-to-face classes by expert OET trainers.

Our classes are based on the digital course books, created by Specialist Language Courses and the celebrated Medical English author and teacher, Virginia Allum. The comprehensive coursebook provides test practice integrated into all units, Parts A, B, and C in the Reading and Listening, Speaking role-play cards, Writing case notes, and model answers.

Your coursebook contains 35 videos, 45 audio tracks, and 100’s of tasks and activities, RX English OET online course is a well-sequenced and structured course to achieve Grade B in your OET exam.

With live coaching by expert tutors from RX English and a daily test practice regimen, the RX English OET Course is your answer to OET success.

On completion of the coursebook, you become eligible for a CPD certificate.

The course covers Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking in a medical context. Each of the modules train students in skills and practices to maximize learning in each module to be successful in the OET exam.

The course follows a blended learning model wherein students are taught each module using a combination of online coursebooks and offline student – tutor interactions. This opens up students to a world of learning available online and creates better learning opportunities. The face-to-face student – tutor interactions brings in the much needed learning triggers that enhance better understanding.

All our courses are administered, both online and offline, using the below tools;

Students are provided an Orientation class over Zoom where they understand the technology used, the device of choice for better learning; desktops or laptops, the tools they would need to have to do the course, validation certficates of Robert Foundation, sample views into practise material and the coursebook and a gist of the teaching methodology.

Daily class timings are discussed and arrived at and a language level exam is conducted. Based on the results of the language level exam, students are advised regarding areas of focus and extra hours, if necessary. Based on a mutually agreeable timeline, the scheduled start dates are fixed.

Once students registers for a course, they are provided access to the digital coursebook.

Teaching Material – Apart from the digital Coursebook, freely available online videos curated by us are used to explain methods to tackle the sub-tests, explain grammar points and also as tools to aid skills, thereby giving students various perspectives and methods to be successful.
